Javascript appears at bottom of page?

I have a 3rd party javascript for doing an image slideshow that I want to appear in the middle of the page however in my dropthings site, it appears at the very bottom.  Any idea why or how to fix this?  I've used it in other website with no problem.  I've already eliminated the possibilty of it being a CSS issue so I'm rather confused.

Here's my code:
  =====================================

<script language="JavaScript" src="Scripts/imageFade.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="250" height="100%">

<tr>

<td>

<script type='text/javascript'>

var fadeimages=new Array();
fadeimages[0]=['Images/Announcements/Image1.gif', '', ''];
fadeimages[1]=['Images/Announcements/Image2.gif', '', ''];
 new fadeshow(fadeimages, 250, 110, 1, 3000, 0);
</script>

</td>

</tr>

</table>
--------------------------------------------------------------
Any idea why this may be happening?  Thanks.

There's a scriptdefer filter that pushes down script tags at the end of the html. You can specify some script tags not to be pushed down by adding "pin" word after the script tag.

<script pin src="...">
